WHITE FUSED ALUMINA is made from alumina powder and smelted at high temperature. It is white and has a slightly higher hardness than brown corundum and a slightly lower toughness. Grinding tools made of it are suitable for grinding of high carbon steel, high speed steel and hardened steel. It can be used as grinding and polishing materials, as well as precision casting sand, spray materials, chemical catalyst carriers, special ceramics, and advanced refractory materials.
